BADTIMING

so my mom and sis was here in uk about 35 days ago... which was great and nice since it'll be the first i'm seeing them in almost 10 months. i was brought loads of goodies from home including unhealthy lovely junk, healthy lovely soup ingredients (some wormy things...disgusting but absolutely tasty)... and not forgetting lovely goodies prepared by kumah... great stuff..... although i must say most of the stuff brought have already been devoured..... anyways it must be a week since they've left now... they were here for about 30 days... and i only spent less than a week out of home with them, thanks to the perfect bad timing....

so the 1st week, we went to paris for 3days... it was really really fun to be with my mom and sis again... after so long... i miss 'kacauing' me sis... absolute fun... anyways the 1st day spent in paris was a lovely tour in paris... going up eiffel tower, went to arche de triomph... and few other places, then had a lovely french cuisine at a lovely restaurant... absolutely amazing food... seafood platter in particular was amazing... anyways that's that.... then the 2nd day... we went to euro disney in the outskirts of paris.... it was brilliant!! it was really fun.. tho' i must say that disney is great for kids... the roller coasters are not as exciting as i expected it to be.... loads of those characters bouncing along tho'... didnt get to catch mickey but caught donald and chipmunks...hehe... and also sleeping beauty.. or was it snow white?? well, one of them anyways.... who can tell the difference anyways..... also that nite... we went to a famous restaurant which served pied de cochon a.k.a. 'fatt lan sai zhu sau' / 'fatt guok zhu sau' / pig's trotters.... not that all great as it was raved to be.... prefer 'dong poh yuk' as most my friends would already know... the 3rd day... my sis decided to get sick, food poisoning as they call it... probably from those leg things..... so we went for a little shopping then caught the train back to london..... so that was the most time i spent with me mom and sis...

after that... i mostly spent time at home doing courseworks... while my mom and sis are out in london having loads of fun....actually come to think of it.... thank goodness my aunt and uncle are around to take them outing... cos i really didnt have the time to take them out, although i had the whole list planned since they decided to come in march.... so during the weeks that they were here, i was absent in uni for that period cos i think it's a total waste of time to spend 4hours travelling on the train when i get to spend time with them as well as doing some work... staying home was way more practical (well, to my calculations anyway)... at least i get to spend time with them at home, when they're around that is.... it was really great that at nights they usually spend the time at home.... and my mom would cook... i know i know... my mom still has to cook in her trips and stuff lah dee dah... but she wants to cook for her son... i'm can't stop her.... what's a son to do..... anyways it was great to eat my mom's cooking again... not that i don't love my aunt's cooking....

anyway.... so it's the last week they will be here... and i have not spend that much time with them apart from paris and dinners... but do i have a choice? no!! i had to stay home to finish my work... not that i can finish it earlier so i can spend some time with my family....as most of you would know..... i'm stupid.... i take more time than others to finish my work.... so therefore i spent yet the last week with them it the room alone doing work.... if my sis were to see this, she'd say that i lied... well, maybe i did lie a weebit... in that i do sneak out a little (ok....maybe a lot... hehe) to maybe watch the tv with them or something....hehe

so it was the last deadline of my courseworks... i was to hand it in on friday.... and guess what?? friday is the day they are flying off.... so is that bad timing or what?? so they spent loads of money to fly here to see me (at least that's what i like to tell myself...hehe).... and what did i do?? spend less than 23% of their time with them.... so do i feel good they were here.... sure!!.... so do i feel bad that i didnt get to spend as much time with them as i would like to.... definitely!! so do i feel bad for being stupid... might as well!! but it doesnt really matter since i've never been bright anyways....

anyways.... that's that... so i would conclude that this trip was really bad timing though i did manage to spend some short quality time with them, although it would have been much more fun it they came during the summer.... i would also like to conclude that being stupid didnt help either.... hehe...
